I am such a lab lover... Our Neiko (Choc Lab) is turning 10 yrs old this month. He has been the best blessing we could ever ask for. The first 2 years were interesting to say the least... He ate everything from: underwear to the side of my parent’s home (while visiting)! The only regret that I have is he is not very social with other male dogs.... and when he is social he simply tries to show his dominance by humping them? Go figure... As he grows in age my heart saddens thinking of the inevitable....?? My best friend is showing his age - he is sleeping a lot more, his chin is full of gray whiskers and his elbows are rough... but if you mention outside and catch he acts like he is 2 again... He is simply " Family"

I have a 2 year old male called George, i recently had to re-locate to Spain for job reasons and i was worried for him about the move but how wrong could i be, i live 5 minute walk from the beach and spends an hour a night in it, the hot weather does not bother him neither so if anybody else is concerned about maybe having to move their Lab abroad dont worry. I like the website and the good work that you do, keep up the good work.

Best regards

Dave and George

I have the most trusted and loved choc lab who is regularly used to socailise puppies for Dogs for the Disabled. Recently he has been diagnosed with Cancer and although he shows no signs of this, I am told he has between one month and a year to live. I am going to give him all the walks and swims that he deserves. He loves other dogs and my vet has recomended that I rehome a Lab whilst Morse is alive and fun. This would mean that I could also settle a new dog into our house more easily and it would not be a replacemnet for Morse when he finally passes away. Can anyone help with finding a loved pet who can no longer be cared for and who needs the love and attention that I can give? I love to walk and live in the countryside.

Hi there. Just come across this site and it it fab.

I have a 3 year old Chocolate Bitch named Madison who we just love to bits, she is still a big silly puppy.

She normally comes into season in Jan and July, but she has just come out of season a week ago again which makes it 3 times this year. Is that normal? We have also noticed that just when she is coming out of season she cannot stop drooling which has never ever happened before. Does anyone know if this is normal? Any comments would be graetly appreciated.

Thanks
