I was wandering if your Lab is on chicken based diet. Chicken is the cheepest meat to use for animal feeds but can also be the worst. It can cause hyper-activity and skin rashes. If so change the diet to either lamb or beef - these are gentler to digest - it will take about 6-8 weeks depending on the severity of the problem and to remove any chicken left in the dogs system. But you should see a change quite quickly if chicken is the cause. Good luck.
