i had the same problem as you so i split the meal into two ,giving a larger portion in the morning ,providing she has exercise during the day and not left in for a long period, gets rid of her waste during daylight hours she obviously cant hold it allnight just too much for her system all at once,it workd for me and when the evenings are light and i want to go walking its better not to exercise her on a heavy meal also if we get some hot days its better to feed them in the cooler morning good luck

Subject:soiling crate

i had a rottie pup that would use my carpet as a toilet and would sleep in a crate at night, as i had another dog a boxweiller that was house trained..but the rottie pup i came down 7.30 every morn and had to bath him and clean his cage as he had messed and rolled in it...sadly the rottie pup had a heart defect and had to be put to sleep at 4mths old...i now still have the boxweiller who is female 3 yrs old..and a new 4mths old choc lab puppy..we have had him 8wks...he is paper trained now and i dint make the mistake of putting him a cage at night..he sleeps in our bedroom in his own bed and has paper down..he uses this if he has too...much easier to clean than the whole dog and cage..he sleeps all nite till bout 6am does his business and goes back to sleep...we get up and clean it up...when he older and gets less meals he will go outside and sleep outside the bedroom door as our boxweiller does...no seperation axieties either...hope this helps ...ann

Hi

Again not sure if this helps but I sorted my lab out by getting up earlier and earlier (5:00am) to let him out before he'd soiled then slowly got later and later.
It was a horrible task but finally worked!!
