| | hi, yes, there is something very delicious about chewing wood (apparently and in a pups point of view!) - speaking from experience, i.e. lamp table chewed on the edge, tv table and dining room table leg - got fed up with the destruction and nearly pulled my hair out. I then found sprays and creams that you can use. I wouldn't bother with the sprays as they are hard to put on, I did use them on the corner of rugs though (as that was something else my destructive pup loved). With the creams, I just put a bit on the corners of whatever every day before I went out and it really did work - must have tasted yuk. I also got a big chewy bone from the pet shop - this is now been about a few weeks but pup still picks up for a chew if needed. praise a lot if you come in and no damage btw, be aware of the skirting boards - the corners of mine also went under choco lab destruction. And before all the hark angel dog owners come on here and say its my own fault for leaving too long or not keeping the pup entertained, exercised etc, it's ballony - my pup is taken out every morning - i work part time - out for a play and walk when i get in. it is just puppy ness - now growing out of it - good luck to you |
